Statement Regarding the Shooting in Colorado
July 20 – Los Angeles – The Consul General of Israel, David Siegel, released the following statement:
"On behalf of the State of Israel, I convey my deepest condolences to the citizens of Colorado following the horrific and shocking act of violence at the Aurora Mall. I extend my sincerest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to the families and loved ones of the victims. The nation of Israel is deeply saddened and stands with the people of Aurora, the state of Colorado, and the United States at this hour of great sorrow."
Consul General David Siegel is the official representative of the State of Israel to the Southwest United States, which includes the State of Colorado.
