Tel Aviv Restaurants Named Among Top 101 Worldwide
Not only is Tel Aviv internationally ranked for its party scene and its beautiful women, but we can now add its cuisine to that list. According to Newsweek, Tel Aviv houses not one, but two of the world's top restaurants.
The magazine took restaurant recommendations from over fifty top chefs to compile a list of the 101 best restaurants in the world. Israeli chef Yotam Ottolenghi's contributions included Abraxas North and Habasta, both located in Tel Aviv.
"Being chosen by Newsweek fills us with pride and happiness," said Habasta owner Itay Hargil. "It's thrilling that such a prominent publication recognizes our quality."
Some Newsweek readers will determine from the list which restaurants are closest and most convenient for them. But others might plan a trip to Israel just to savor its newly-acclaimed cuisine.
