WHAT: After more than five years of being held hostage by Hamas terrorists, Israeli Soldier Gilad Shalit's release is expected tomorrow morning Israel time. On Tuesday morning, the Los Angeles community will gather to watch the unfolding events via live feed from Israel as Gilad returns home. Program will include speeches from Consul General of Israel, David Siegel, Federation Chairman Richard V. Sandler and community leaders and elected officials. We invite you to join us.

Official IDF footage of Sergeant Major Shalit's release will be disseminated by the Consulate following the event.
